How will we be assessed?

For those of you who are keen to know more about the rigorous methodology that underpins these awards, you’ve come to the right place. There are two parts to the assessment.

Part 1: Staff Survey

The staff survey is a quick 7-8 minute online survey which you need to distribute to all of your employees. It is worth 50% of your overall score, and you will be required to achieve a minimum number of responses.

Part 2: Written Submission

Here you’ll answer questions relating to the practices, programs and policies that currently exist within your organisation. Your Human Resources representative will be best placed to complete this assessment. It is worth 50% of your overall score.

The assessment is underpinned by the Workplaces of the Future framework which has been developed by leading behavioural science consultancy, Inventium. It is designed to assess the ten key factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work. The framework is based on hundreds of research papers from Harvard University, Stanford University, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and many others, that demonstrate the key factors necessary to create a brilliant workplace.
