Charter Hall launched a Wellbeing Program in 2020, focusing on building four skills linked to learning and out-performance – resilience, positive outlook, focus and generosity. Via webinar, teams learnt the neuroscience of these skills and how to form healthy habits. To foster generosity, Charter Hall built a vibrant Yammer community with people running cooking classes, art classes and live storytelling from home for the Charter Hall community during lockdown. Focus was integrated into the ways of working by using a blend of office, home and third spaces to create a balance between focus and collaboration, improving productivity and mental wellbeing. As a result, Charter Hall achieved an engagement score of 93%, up from 88% last year.
