KidsCo encouraged employees to set a personal growth goal – one thing they personally wanted to achieve in a six-month period which would better them. An agile board was created and progress was discussed as part of the regular stand-ups as well as a bonus being provided to those who achieved their goal at the end of 6 months.

70% of employees were successful in meeting their goal with one person learning French, one completing a marathon, one an ultra-marathon and two even quit smoking. The initiative was such a success it is now part of the regular performance framework.
