M&C Saatchi implemented a program that focussed on the digitisation of employee engagement. As part of this, they transformed recruitment and onboarding, enabling a seamless employee experience via SMS and video content. They also moved from linear communication to two-way communication and engagement via Enboarder and Facebook Workplace with polling and surveying to provide instant feedback. Digitisation enabled M&C Saatchi to move their workforce home during COVID-19 and instantly connect through multiple channels with bite-sized video content from the Executive team via SMS, ensuring people felt connected and informed during a period of intense isolation.
