PageUp People designed a flexible and inclusive offering to meet the needs of their current and future diverse workforce. The Shared Care Parental Leave Policy supports employees’ rights to become parents, irrespective of gender, either through the birth or adoption of a child. This policy does extend and cover parents in the circumstance of stillbirth. Regardless of gender, primary carers are eligible for 14 weeks full-rate (or 28 weeks half-rate) and will also receive superannuation payments for a period of up to six months. Regardless of gender, secondary carers are eligible for six weeks of full-rate paid leave, to be taken anytime within the first 12 months of the child being born or adopted.
