Slalom Australia wanted to create a culture of belonging within their organisation, regardless of the fact that 70% of their staff began their journey with them virtually. To ensure new staff feel involved and supported, their new Welcome Program was introduced with features including personalised welcome communications and schedules, welcome packs, an Australia-wide welcome call, lunch with leaders, and live onboarding sessions.
Feedback from new employees on the program has been universally positive, with 100% of team members finding the onboarding useful and feeling easily able to connect with colleagues.
