The Fitness Playground developed self-guided career pathways to establish tailored pathways suited to employees’ personal goals and interests. All staff are provided with a bespoke role structure and career milestones that indicate an increase in responsibility and a pay increase. One example of this is The Fitness Playground’s Head of Learning and Development began as a personal trainer. Once he expressed his interest in learning and development, the company created a career pathway with milestones and education required to progress to his desired role.
