Mantel Group’s ‘My Deal’ initiative is based on the concept that everyone is unique and what motivates individuals and what they need from their workplace is different and changes over time. Each year the Head of P&C and CEO meet with each team member to discuss how they will work together over the coming year to make team members’ lives better. These discussions take 300 hours a year but are prioritised above all else as they allow every team member to ensure their work and life fit together, and know they are valued as a person. Some examples include relocating a staff member to Magnetic Island, investing in a staff members product idea or as simple as a new iPhone 12 for someone’s daughter.
