Medibank doubled down on their Health & Wellbeing program to support their people during COVID. The program already included 24/7 employee health & mental health services, a ‘Good Health’ leave day, wellbeing grants, mental & financial wellbeing programs and access to mindfulness apps. But during COVID-19, Medibank increased their mental health support, providing additional paid leave, optional wellness and mindfulness programs, care packages and home ergonomics kits to their employees. As a result, 70% of Medibank’s employees rated their health status as very good or good, a 5% increase on 2019 and 75% higher than the national average.
